Gemstone Care Tips:

Amethyst: It’s safe to use warm soapy water to clean amethyst. This stone can fade slightly when exposed an excess amount of sunlight.

Moissanite: One of the most durable gemstones in the world. 9.25 on the Mohs scales. Soap & warm water will work best for these stones. You also should avoid excess exposure to oils/chemicals, because it will cause your stone to look dull.

Pearls: Pearls are sensitive, natural stones. I recommend only using water & a polishing cloth to clean them. They are sensitive to chemicals and scratches.

Moonstone: It’s just recommended to use warm soapy water to clean this stone. Ultrasonic cleaners are too harsh for moonstone.

Labradorite: This is a a relatively soft gemstone & can scratch easy. Ultrasonic cleaners, toothbrushes, and steamers are NOT recommended for this special stone. It’s recommended to use warm soapy water and a microfiber polishing cloth to clean. Make sure all the soap is rinsed off & then let it air dry. Clean this stone often to help maintain its beauty.

Rose Quartz: The love stone is insoluble to water & actually does very well when in contact with water. Ultrasonic cleaners, steamers, & toothbrushes are NOT recommended to clean rose quartz. You can use warm soapy water & a polishing cloth to clean your rose quartz.
